Environmental Alliance launches Updated PPG2

The Environment Agency in England and Wales, the Northern Ireland Environment Agency and the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency have together launched a new, updated version of Pollution Prevention Guideline (PPG) 2 for Above Ground Oil Storage Tanks.
The principles within the document are applicable to all Above Ground Oil Storage Tank Installations, but have been written primarily with domestic heating oil users, together with smaller and medium size commercial fuel oil users in mind.
Items applying to other types of storage, are now listed separately, whereas previously and confusingly they were included within the main body of the document.
