Apollo Smart Set For Success Ahead Of Autumn Launch

Even before the first product has been dispatched, Apollo Smart, the world's first heating oil energy monitor, has already created something of a stir amongst oil tank manufacturers and oil equipment resellers alike.
Developed by Dunraven Systems and previewed at FPS EXPO, Apollo Smart builds upon the success of Dunraven's ever-popular Apollo range of ultrasonic oil level monitors.
Apollo Smart allows customers to ascertain the level of fuel remaining inside their tank in both litres, and as a percentage of total tank capacity. It also allows customers to uniquely monitor energy costs in Sterling or Euro, fuel consumption in litres and CO2 emissions in kgCO2. Inbuilt USB connectivity ensures consumption and usage data can be uploaded to almost any Mac or PC, via the optional Apollo Smart App.
Dunraven Systems, Managing Director, Gerry Jones says, "Allowing homeowners, householders and business owners to monitor their energy consumption, allows them to control it. Research with similar, smart monitoring systems indicates that consumers can save up to 15%, when proactively monitoring energy consumption. We expect similar savings will be achievable with Apollo Smart."
David Mears from online tank specialist, BundedTanks.com has been quick to see the potential of the system for oil heating customers.
