Titan launches new, universal oil tank gauge

Titan Environmental, the leading oil tank manufacturer, is launching a new fuel monitoring gauge that can be fitted to an oil tank of any shape or size within minutes.
Known as the Watchman Niveau, the product monitors the oil level in the tank and displays the results on a digital indicator in the home or office.
The Watchman Niveau has no electrical wiring and operates via a self-calibrating transmitter, which is installed on the tank.
The Watchman Niveau is fitted by simply cutting the calibration tube to match the height of the tank and attaching the battery to the tank transmitter.
The customer can choose the point at which the low level warning activator is set and an overfill alarm gives peace of mind when supplies are being topped up. The digital display provides hourly updates on fuel levels, if required.
Once fitted, the Watchman Niveau can be upgraded to the Signalman scheme, which sends regular updates to the oil distributor via a telephone line and lets them know when supplies need to be replenished.
The Watchman Niveau has an operational radio range of 1,000 metres and a battery life of up to five years. It complements the existing Watchman range of products that monitor oil levels.

“It will be a great boon to customers with older tanks, who previously had to monitor oil levels themselves and risked running out of oil if they forgot to make regular checks. With the Watchman Niveau, they can monitor oil levels from the comfort of their home or office and even arrange for their supplier to be automatically notified when the next top-up is due.”
