EA Wales Information Caravan set to visit Wrexham
27th November 2004
An Environment Agency Wales information caravan will be visiting Wrexham Industrial Estate for two days in December, offering free help and advice to local companies.
Businesses in the area will have a chance to check if they are complying with the latest environmental legislation, and are up to speed on pollution prevention measures.
The caravan will be located in front of the Redwither Tower, off Abbey Road on the Wrexham Industrial Estate on Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 December, between 10.00 am and 3.30pm.
Local Agency environment officer Siān Andrew said: “We hope local businesses will visit the mobile information centre to find out more. Agency officers will be manning the confidential drop-in advice centre to deal with any queries regarding environmental legislation, pollution prevention measures, waste minimisation and water and energy efficiency.”
Natalie Campbell of ARENA Network will also be available at the centre on both days to provide free advice and information to offer advice on how businesses can save money through environmental management systems such as the Green Dragon Environmental Standard, ISO14001 and EMAS.
If businesses would like to arrange a free pollution prevention visit or have any advance enquiries they should contact Siān Andrew or Lindsey Worrall on (01244) 894514 or 894552.
