Titan confirm attendance at FPS2005

Titan Environmental - a subsidiary of the Republic of Ireland based building products conglomerate, Kingspan Group plc - has confirmed its attendance at the Federation of Petroleum Suppliers’ Annual Exhibition in Telford on the 21st and 22nd of April.
Impressed by the response to new products launches at the FPS Exhibition in Harrogate last year, the Banbridge-based company will showcase new products and continue to champion oil tank telemetry.
Philip Browne, Titan Environmental’s Commercial Director, said ‘We were delighted by the reaction to our new products. The response was so positive that we sold newly released products straight off the stand.’
Mr. Browne added ‘The FPS Exhibition is known as the biggest event in the industry and last year we used the opportunity to unveil our Slimline Ecosafe ES1000. It proved to be a big hit with visitors and we"re keen to make a similar impact with new products this year too.’
New products for the 2005 show will include another addition to the company’s Ecosafe range of bunded oil storage tanks, together with the latest developments in tank gauging and accessories.
The complete Titan tank stable of Ecosafe, Talking Titan and Fuelmaster will be on display, as will the Watchman, which is becoming standard issue on all OFTEC approved tanks.
Having spent the last twelve months talking to installers, oil distributors and service engineers about how they view the industry and the improvements they would like to see, Titan has decided to concentrate further on the standard of tank installation.
Titan"s market research concluded that for every responsible OFTEC approved installer that priced a job, someone less qualified and less interested in standards would be willing to put in a cheaper price.
Mr. Browne said ‘We"ve found that it"s a big problem throughout the country. Titan has the biggest and most qualified installer network available who set excellent standards with their work and get frustrated when cowboy firms undercut them and do a shoddy job.
With this in mind Titan are planning to unveil their long awaited accreditation scheme for installers at the FPS. It is envisaged that Titan accreditation will take installers to a new level with marketing and technical support unlike anything that has gone before.’
