In 2004, OilFiredUp.com became the UK's first online oil heating magazine. Since we first appeared online, we've redefined how new affecting the oil heating and fuel storage industry throughout the British Isles is written, read and distributed.
As well as being the first UK oil heating magazine to appear exclusively online, we launched the world's first oil heating specific search engine in 2005. We've also sometimes been the first to break news that has shocked an entire industry - such as the departure of former OFTEC Chief Executive Officer, Richard Gales in 2007. And of course, the first to highlight safety critical issues e.g. overfill prevention valves which may not always work. Sometimes, we've also been the first to get ourselves into trouble too!
However, recognising that 'you don't stay ahead by standing still', we're yet again the first oil heating magazine to develop a social networking proposition. So, you can now catch up with the latest developments in the UK's oil heating industry and interact directly with OilFiredUp.com on Twitter.
