Oil Over for Irish Boiler Manufacturer, Gerkros

OilFiredUp.com understands that Republic of Ireland based oil boiler manufacturer Gerkros has gone into liquidation, with the loss of up to 75 jobs. A liquidator was appointed to the Co. Tipperary based company, after attempts to place the business into 'examinership' failed, following the discovery of discrepancies in the company's financial affairs. Read More
Kingspan launches New Portable Fuel Tank

Failure to Bund costs Scottish Farmer £2,000

A Scottish farmer has been fined £2000 for allowing diesel to enter surface water drains, polluting a tributary of the River Ythan in North East Scotland. Mr Roger Glennie from the Hillhead of Ardo Farm, Methlick, Ellon pled guilty recently to a contravention of legislation designed to protect the environment. Read More
