OFTEC issues Works Notification Reminder

OFTEC is reminding oil heating, cooking and storage technicians that legally they must notify their work - either directly with building control or via OFTEC's works notification system for registered technicians. Installers who choose to use the Building Control route need to contact their local authority building control department to arrange for the job to be inspected. If the inspection passes, the local authority will issue a certificate of compliance to the householder. Read More
